To my neighbors in Ann Arbor,

I’m running for school board. I’m a parent, a volunteer, and a pediatric nurse practitioner. For the better part of fifteen years I’ve cared for children and their families in a variety of settings, from critical care units to an outpatient clinic. That work taught me to set a clear plan, track whether it’s working, and ask why when it isn’t.

I never planned to run for office, but I see the opportunity to help make our community better by bringing that experience to our schools. Our district can move forward with greater collaboration, clarity, and trust, and I know how to bring people together around shared goals.

I’ll support disciplined, transparent governance that sets a clear direction, protects the district’s financial health, and keeps student outcomes at the center of every decision. I’ll prioritize teacher retention and input, strengthen communication with families, and advocate for schools where every student and staff member feels safe.

I’m excited to listen, learn, and work alongside students, families, educators, and community members. I believe deeply in our community and its public schools, and I’d be honored to help build a collaborative, responsive, and sustainable district where every child can thrive.
